After raising our 3 boys to adults - my husband & I (both retired), decided to provide child care to our new granddaughter, Penelope. We began our journey in 2012. This has been an amazing experience. I would love to share with other's out there. Come join in with your ideas, wisdom & insight.
In 2012, our family was blessed with the addition of a beautiful little granddaughter, Penelope. Since both her Mom & Dad are teachers, they were able to be with her all summer. When fall came, Granddaddy & I decided to do child care. Penelope was only 2 months old. Needless to say, our world changed in an amazing way. Not having a baby in our home for 25 yrs, was like being parents all over again (sort of). My husband Rick & I were instantly in love with this little creature who thrived in our care. The early months of trying to figure out what Penelope needs were gradually grew into a strong foundation of love & trust. We feel very blessed indeed to have this opportunity.
